Dr. Farrah Fahdhienie, SKM, MPH

Dr. Farrah Fahdhienie is a lecturer and researcher in the field of public health who currently serves as an Associate Professor at the Master of Public Health Program, Universitas Muhammadiyah Aceh. Her academic interests focus on epidemiology, communicable and non-communicable diseases, as well as spatial epidemiology based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

She obtained her Bachelor of Public Health (SKM) degree from Universitas Muhammadiyah Aceh in 2008 with a specialization in Epidemiology. She later earned her Master of Public Health (MPH) degree through the Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) at Universitas Gadjah Mada in 2012. In 2024, she completed her doctoral degree in the Doctoral Program of Health and Medicine at Universitas Syiah Kuala.

As an academic, Dr. Farrah Fahdhienie is actively involved in national and international research and scientific publications, particularly in the areas of tuberculosis, public health, disease epidemiology, surveillance, and health promotion. In addition, she actively participates in community service activities and contributes to the development of public health education in Aceh and Indonesia.

Dr. Farrah Fahdhienie also serves as a reviewer for several reputable international journals, including Frontiers in Public Health, PLOS Global Public Health, Digital Health, Geospatial Health, as well as reviewer for BMC Journals including BMC Primary Care and BMC Infectious Diseases. She is also actively involved as a reviewer for national competitive research grants and is a recipient of the national BIMA research grant from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.
